OPENING NIGHT at Disney On Ice

I am always claiming someone else's family. Don't get me wrong I absolutely adore my entire family! I am proud to be a part of my family. I am learning everyday how important each person in my family is to me and who I strive to be on a daily basis.

However, I have always loved being a part of (if only for a moment) other families. In my previous life, I was an Office Manager of a charter school for a little under 3 years and to this day you cannot tell me that I don't have about 100+ grandmas floating around the city of Chicago!

Let me tell it, I'm a Brooks, Jackson, Randle, Acheampong, Peterson, Mitchell, Barbee/Manney, Cobb/Evans, and probably a dozen or so more!  

I believe in the power of family and what it should stand for and represent for our communities and society as a whole. Life has its ups and downs, its challenges and its accomplishments but with and through it all the one thing that will always be with you is your family!

For a little over 8 years, our family owned business has provided a variety of urban marketing, advertising and promotions services for Feld Entertainment the producers of Disney On Ice and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. We've done post show concerts in Houston with Solange, B.I.G. Night Out at Madison Square Garden, VIP parties at the 40/40 Club in NYC, and even a gospel concert with Lonnie Hunter and the Voices of St. Mark "back in the day" and yet tonight was one of the most exciting nights for me in my Disney On Ice / Ringling journey!

 

It felt like one big old "family" reunion! I bumped into families I hadn't seen since in a while and even a few I just saw the other day!  Nothing beats a good old fashioned fun family night!
